Happy Easter from Uganda!!
Happy Easter!! We It was a big day for us not only because it was Easter but also because we were tasked with organizing 2 Easter Egg hunts - one at the YES (Youth Encounter the Savior) center where we went to Mass and one at the training center for Empower African Children. We took our assignment very seriously so we arrived in Uganda with over 1000 plastic Easter Eggs plus treats and treasures with which to fill them. It took the six of us from UA plus Agnes and Alexis about 3 hours to stuff the eggs late into the night last night - and each hunt lasted only a few short minutes (but oh they were fun!). All of our efforts were well worth the effort when we saw the joy and enthusiasm that the hunts brought to the children here.
