Today was a thrilling day for us at Ursuline Dallas as we welcomed our sister school, Ursuline High School of Wimbledon, to Texas for the first time. We have been eagerly awaiting this delegation for months! Our students have been longing to hear those lovely accents (because we in Texas don't have accents - right y'all?) and to discuss all things British such as Harry Potter and the upcoming Royal Wedding. The group from Wimbledon arrived a bit tired but still full of enthusiasm for the days ahead. We were immediately touched by their Texas-themed hoodies and their warm smiles. Of course, we embraced our new friends immediately with American-style hugs. Then, after our UA girls greeted their new little sisters with hugs, applause and cheers, the pairs swiftly departed DFW airport with their parents for home.
