Today our guests from Wimbledon took time out to visit our friends at Peak Academy Primary School. They were the honored guests of the very bright and very enthusiastic second graders. The girls from Wimbledon talked to three different second grade classrooms and told them all about their lives in England. The young Peak Academy students could not have been more curious - They were particularly excited to learn about the British pound, the Queen, King Arthur, Beatles music (which they knew and sang for us), Big Ben, soccer, Wimbledon Tennis, Harry Potter and, of course, the famous red Double Decker buses. As you can see, all had a grand time at Peak Academy. We were happy that Monica and Abby, seniors from Ursuline Dallas, joined us since they know Peak Academy well from their weekly community service. Also very exciting was the fact that, in addition to our visit, Peak was also hosting a special celebrity guest today - Yes, that's Kung Fu Panda with our Ursuline students!
